- Vocational Rehabilitation: Permanently physically challenged insured employees can undergo vocational rehabilitation training at VRS.
- Physical Rehabilitation: Available to employees facing physical disablement due to employment injury or occupational hazards.
- Old Age Medical Care: An annual payment of ₹120 ensures medical care benefits for retiring or VRS/ERS-opting ESI employees.
- Extended Sickness Benefits: Members with chronic diseases can avail extended sickness benefits for up to 2 years after exhausting the standard sick leave of 91 days.
- Enhanced Sickness Benefit: Registered ESI members opting for sterilisation procedures are eligible for enhanced sickness benefits, covering 100% of daily average wages, with a recuperating period of 7 days for vasectomy and 14 days for tubectomy from the date of surgery or hospital admission.
